I was an indoor kid growing up since my last neighborhood in West Pullman was unsafe. For the first time in my 9 years of living in close proximity to integrated middle class people of the Morgan Park/Beverly neighborhoods of Chicago, I gained the guts to walking around the neighborhood to help ease my mind of the anxieties of job losses, and the question of where/when my next check will come to pay bills and live.

This piece is one of a few that I made during my walks and some of my reflections throughout.
